What if you fluted into a flutophone

for keeps knowing the modest instrument

could be replaced or washed or left on

some shelf and recast

This pricey thinwall with B-foot joint

cost half the house back then and now

sometimes I watch it on the shelf 

take space including my only heart

stretched still small yet huge enough

to include pensive feasting of my endless

love for you the definition of how and why

I breathe I breathe for you 

But the music the music of unthought breath

keeps the heart and the lines of code
